It is currently very difficult to handle all scenarios through L4 autonomous driving. As for Huawei’s technology for autonomous driving at this stage, Su Qing said that Huawei will not fully delegate power, and needs some technical means to supervise autonomous driving, to avoid autonomous driving to deal with some extreme situations, thereby reducing the incidence of accidents. As for when Huawei will be able to achieve fully autonomous driving, Su Qing said that it will get through the dangerous period of the next 5-10 years, so that autonomous driving can land smoothly in a safe and reliable way. That is to say, in Su Qing’s view, more so-called autonomous driving technology can only be used as an assisted driving technology, and it still needs to be operated by humans. The real driverless driving is still far away from us, at least not yet. One can guarantee complete safety.
