Pico Technology today announced the further development of its PicoScope 6000E Series oscilloscopes with the introduction of three new 4-channel product models, each with 16 optional digital channels. Featuring 300 or 500 MHz bandwidth, 8-bit or 8/10/12-bit flexible resolution, and up to 4 GS of deep capture memory, these products further enhance the capabilities of the existing PicoScope 6000E Series, an 8-channel product introduced earlier in the year New products are added on the basis of the model.

Measuring 245 x 192 x 62 mm (9.7 x 7.6 x 2.5 inches), the 6000E Series oscilloscopes can be easily installed on any bench. Pico PC-based devices are ideal for engineers who need professional-grade test equipment that can fit in limited spaces, whether in a lab or home office.

A free downloadable software development kit (SDK) enables users to write their own applications for the PicoScope 6000E hardware. The SDK includes device drivers for Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as code samples in C, C#, C++, and Python. Drivers are also provided for interacting with popular third-party software packages such as Microsoft Excel, National Instruments LabVIEW, and MathWorks MATLAB. Pico is an approved MathWorks Connections Program Partner with extensive in-house MATLAB development experience.

The full functionality of the PicoScope 6000E hardware is made available to programmers via an API, enabling the development of virtually unlimited custom and OEM applications in a variety of scientific, research, industrial, automotive and power applications.
