The QPF7219 iFEM combines Qorvo’s advanced Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) filter technology with its unique edgeBoost feature to nearly double Wi-Fi coverage and triple the capacity to support more devices. When integrated into a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) system, the QPF7219 iFEM provides reliable network coverage throughout the home.

The Qorvo QPF7219 Wi-Fi 6 iFEM, available from Mouser Electronics, integrates a 2.4 GHz power amplifier (PA) optimized for a 5 V supply voltage to conserve power while maintaining high linear output power. The edgeBoost feature of the BAW filter also maximizes its output power for channels near the edge of the band, allowing all Wi-Fi channels 1 to 11 to achieve extremely high throughput without reducing transmit power to meet FCC regulatory limits.

The module also contains a bypassable low-noise amplifier, voltage regulator, and transmit-receive switch. The device features 5GHz rejection for dual-band double-shot (DBDC) operation and integrated die-level filtering for second and third harmonics.

The QPF7219 iFEM is suitable for a variety of connectivity solutions including wireless routers, access points, residential gateways, Wi-Fi client devices and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Mouser also offers the QPF7219EVB-01 evaluation board for development.
