Xiaomi Mi 10 smartphone features NXP RF front-end solution

Eindhoven, The Netherlands – May 20, 2020 – NXP Semiconductors NV (Nasdaq: NXPI) today announced the company’s latest Wi-Fi 6 compliant radio frequency front end (RFFE) The solution was adopted by the Xiaomi Mi 10 5G smartphone.

Advanced 5G devices are driving huge demand for performance, integration, size, and Wi-Fi 6 capabilities. NXP’s RFFE solutions are highly integrated and very compact in a 3 mm x 4 mm package size. With Wi-Fi 6 capabilities, it can support advanced portable computing devices (including advanced 5G smartphones) and support 2×2 MIMO capabilities with excellent performance. NXP’s compact, high-performance RFFE solutions can help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) reduce design time and dramatically accelerate time-to-market.

NXP Advanced RF WLAN11ax Portfolio

NXP’s high-performance WLAN11ax portfolio offers 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 compliant 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, enabling customers to meet growing demands for increased bandwidth. The NXP-supplied portfolio can flexibly expand on these specifications. NXP offers 2×2 Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) support for IEE802.11a/n/ac/ax applications.
